WX5002V2 - Webinterface, Portal Authentication
Hi,
I have several questions according to the wx5002v2 access controller.
-First of all, is there any way to configure additional radius schemes via webinterface, or can it only be done using ssh?
I can configure the radius scheme "system" via web, but i didn't figure out, how to add a second one. But using ssh, I can add radius schemes and I'm also able to configure a domain to use them.
-Secondly I'd like to know how to correctly configure the portal server, because I tried almost everything but I can't figure out how to do this.
We have an acces service for our medical tablets using it to join our internal network for medical rounds and so on. This already works correctly :) with one of the two radius servers used for authentication on VLAN1(internal network).
Second access service will be used for patients accessing the internet over a seperate dsl protected by an IPCOP firewall with proxy and three interfaces. External DSL, a local wired network(VLAN2) connected to the radius server for our patients, and some other computers that dont belong to our company, and the third interface is connected to the access controller(VLAN3). Now I want to enable the local portal server of the access controller and bind it to the second access service and the second radius server. The connection between the access controller and the second radius server works, but I dont know whether I have to enable the DHCP on the access controller or on the firewall, and how I have to configure the portal server to show the logon page if you want to access the internet using the patients access service. First of all I could not find any html pages (no zip file) on the access controller, but maybe its integrated in another file. I also added a custom authentication page, following the manual, just adding the forms without changing anything and telling the portal server to use it. Portal server was configured on VLAN3.
If you need further information to understand the problem, please just ask.

Re: WX5002V2 - Webinterface, Portal Authentication
Hi ya,
I have a similar issue.. There seems to be a lack of good documentation for these products..
Like you I have other things working, but the local portal would be good to get going...
Any info out there?/?..
