Booting from BC S-Vol
Hi,
Has anyone come across any issue with booting a windows 2008 host from a BC S-vol.
The original Boot disk was on an EVA Vdisk which was imported to the XP using external storage then BC’d to an internal disk. The internal (S-Vol) was then presented back to the host as the boot disk and the external lun deleted.
This process was repeated a number of times to test the procedure but the results were inconsistent. Sometimes the host would boot ok other times it would fail saying that a windows file was corrupt or missing.
Anyone come across this before.
Thanks,
DJ
