Coexistence EVA4000 and MSA2000FC G2
Hello,
i've connected serveral ESX 3.5 hosts with an EVA4000 and a MSA2000FCG2. It works fine, but is it supported?
I can't find anything on the spoc database and in the SAN Design Reference Guide i don't find anything about this configuration.
many thanks

Re: Coexistence EVA4000 and MSA2000FC G2
don't see why not, I presume the MSA and EVA are not in the same zone so any issues that arise can't be blamed on the other SAN box. there is no reason to only have an EVA presenting storage to a box on a SAN after all.

hi,
agree with larry here , surely one of the advantages of a san is the ability to access any storage resource in that san. as long as each path from server <--> switch <--> storage is a supported one with correct zoning and lun presentation you should have no issues.
