Command to know the IP address of the MSA1000 storage array

Hi,
Could you please let us know how to find out the IP address of the MSA1000 storage array from CLI .Currently I am connected to the storage using serial console cable.

The MSA1000 has no network!

I am not sure about your requirement but you can try the command "show connections" to verify all the connections to the MSA.

And please note MSA1000 does not have any network concept.

Yeah, it's easy to confuse the port in the front of the MSA1000 with an Ethernet/TCP-IP port, but it's actually used for console connections. So you need a special cable for that.

The MSA1000 can have IP's assigned to the SAN switches. Perhaps that's what you mean.

If it's the MSA1000 2/8 SAN switch it's a Brocade SAN switch, the older 2/6 or /7 is something else.

The CLI command in a brocade to see what the IP settings are is ipaddrshow.
