create new disk

We are using eva5000 is connected with rx7620.
there are 600G available space.I have to make 300G space.
could you inform me of the sequence about creation space?

Hi,

Perform the following actions

1) on EVA5000
create a lun
present Lun to host

2) on ux server
ioscan -fnC disk
insf -e
spmgr display (write down new device file)
pvcreate -f /dev/rdsk/cxtydz
Create new volumegroup or extend existing.
