DL 380 G3 Raid 5 Drive replacement
What are the procedures for replacing a failed drive. Raid 5 5304 Controller 72.8 Gig drive 5 drives in the raid5. Do I have to power down?

No... you do not have to power down. Just be sure to replace one drive at a time. The LED's will flash a heartbeat during the rebuild process and then go back to Solid Green when complete. If you have the Storage Agent loaded and running you will get log messages of the process.

B4 replacing the drive (and only if you can spare the access lag), go in to the controller settings and set the rebuild priority to 100%.
Then once complete set it back to 50%/50%.
Might be best to do this during a quiet period and will help reduce the rebuild of the hot-swapped drive significantly....
