Do I need Command View SDM

In reviewing my upcoming support contract, I see that I am paying on a Command View SDM LTU, I'm wondering why I need this software LTU. AFAIK it's not installed on my system. I have an rp5470 with a DS2300 attached, best I can tell the software is for the VA series storage. Am I seeing this correctly or just confused.

Andy,

you are correct, you do not really need Command View to manage your JBOD. Though there are some options in it now to handle JBODs like your DS2300, you can live perfectly without that piece of SW.
