DP 6.1 and D2D4004

Hello All,
I would like to use D2D4004(VTL) Backup System in my backup infrastructure along with DP 6.1 cell manager and MSL 2024 physical library. I need to configure D2D4004 as a primary backup storage and data needs to be offloaded to physical tape library as well for onsite long term data retention. When i looked at D2D user guide, it says we can backup upto 16 hosts only which will be seen by the hosts as a locally connected tape devices. How could i configure this device to be shared by multiple hosts in a data center?
