Error of disk in the LUN of FC60

I'm with problem in a disk (3:8) of my LUN, it does not answer.

My guess is that the disk you installed has LUN information on it from its previous life, and the FC60 does not want to wipe out potentially important information, and defaults to NOT using any disk on which it can read LUN header/control info.

It's been a while on the FC60s, but I'm quite sure there is some sort of 'force' or other override function to allow you to use this as a replacement disk. You just have to specifically tell the FC60 to use this disk, regardless of its content.

Sorry I can't be more specific. Holy cow, has it really been 7 years since I've played with one of those? My FC60 files have been archived, and I'm getting an error on recovery.

Hopefully you have HP support to call, or manuals. You might find manuals at www.docs.hp.com for this old beast. The good news is, you *clearly* had a failed drive (nothing could be read from it), and now this drive CAN be read (model, firmware rev, etc, plus the LUN header info that is jamming you up). So, if you can figure out how to force the disk to be wiped and used as a replacement disk, you should be good to go.
