How change ID of enclusore box???? and consequences that would have with this?

There is no way to change the enclosure ID in EVA4400. ID assigned for Enclosures are determined by controller and dont have any relation with physical location in the rack.

As far as i know, HP has not published any procedure to change the enclosure ID in EVA4400.

Well... this is all I can say about this:

1) Yes, it's documented
2) Yes, the enclosure number can be set manually
3) No, it's not public information
4) It must be done before initializing

I'm curious - why can't it be done afterwards?

As far as I can tell, the EVAx400 does soft AL_PAs anyway. And if there are enclosure addressing conflicts (e.g. new enclosure with duplicate ID) this is fixed automatically.

As stated above, the place where it is documented says in red letters not to try it on a working system.
