EVA4400 Vdisk data lost alert

After a Rise in temperature i have a error in EVA"Vdisk data lost" i choose "use as is"

but now all server can not access the LUN partition

Can we have the details of XCS verison on the EVA. I hope XCS below 9004 has the known issue of Vdisk failed state due to temparature raise.

We have encounted around 3 times the same issue and issue solved by selecting the option "use as is".

Please paln for XCS upgrade to XCS 9534 if it is not.

Hope you have tried complete shutdown of the servers and power on.

How can i know the XCS version if 9004 or not

and i shut down all servers and the EVA

If you login to Command View EVA Server. You can see in the Right Hand Side pane after click on the EVA Storage Name.

Hi,

As per the screen shot the version is 09501000.

Recommandation is to move to XCS 9534000. You can get the software from

software.hp.com and check for XCS 9534000 and download the instructions.

You can log a case with HP for the assistance.

okay i download the software but i have problem with the license and how can i install the software ?

There is no need of license to install. I hope the license is already installed. You need to upgrade the Command View EVA also to 9.3 and can be download from the same location. It will pickup the license from EVA metadata. No need of any additional licenses to be installed.
