eventid1063 & 1064 drive array status change

our proliant server crashed. on restarting (all seems ok) i have the following events in the system log. 1063 storage agents, drive array spare drive status change. spare drive in slot 2, port 1 , bay 3 has new status 3 and 1064 storage agents, drive array physical status change. physical drive in slot 2, port 1 , bay 3 with serial etc has new status 3.
spec is Compaq ML 350 Tower???Compaq Smart 3200 Array Controller???3 X 18GB Hard Drives for Raid 5 Configuration (1 hot spare)???
Running NT Server 4 SP6a and Exchange 5.5
what does this mean. thanks for any help
