FATA disk
We have 48 FC disc in our eva4000 disk enclosure. The firmware is 5031 and the EVA software is version 5.
We intend to add some 1TB FATA drives to the storage. are the firmware and the software compatible with the 1TB FATA drives?
Thank you.

Re: FATA disk
Hi Kingsley,
No. I believe the 5.031 firmware for the EVA4000 would only have supported up to 250GB FATA drives.

You really need to upgrade. XCS 5.031 went out of support a long time ago...
Cheers,
Rob

Re: FATA disk
DO NOT use 1 TB FATA disks with firmware below 6100, it's not supported.
