FC60 Battery fail alert with new battery
I'm getting this message saying the FC60 battery failled. We changed the Battery a couple days ago and it is showing full charge.
Is there something else I could to do to stop the alert or should I be calling support?
Marty

Re: FC60 Battery fail alert with new battery
Marty,
If I recall correctly, you have to do something to reset the battery time-out. Unfortunately I don't remember the procedure. I would suggest a call to HP.

Re: FC60 Battery fail alert with new battery
And the answer is ...
ammgr -b
This resets the FC60 battery check.
ammgr and amdsp commands do a whole lot of other things to.
use man pages for more info.
