fcpdev,fcarray,fcpmux

Hi,
when looking at ioscan output, I find sometime the parent driver for a disk array as fcpdev, sometimes as fcparray and sometimes as fcpmux. Is it the way we connect the disk array that causes the parent driver to be different? Does any one have exhaustive information on various ways in which arrays (SCSI and FC) can be connected?
