Global hot-spare on dual-channel controller

Global hot-spare on dual-channel controller

Sample Configuration: SA6402 - one channel connected to internal SCSI backplane of DL380G4, the second to MSA30. The question is:
Can we bring global hot-spare disk, which is reside on internal scsi backplane on first channel, to both logical drives on separate channels of RAID controller?

I have never tried it, but I think that's possible, because, unlike the SA6404, both channels belong to the same controller.
