High capacity SAS disks and D2600 DAS

Hello,

 

Has anyone been using the new high capacity 5TB or 6TB SAS drives with their D2600 array? We're thinking of using them with a P812 controller in a RAID10 setup (to minimize rebuild times and have best performance). Sadly there are no HP drives in this capacity.

Hello, useing such drives is not supported yet by HP. It need certification etc. Of course, you can try them without HP support, usually it works, but you are in risk.
