How long should I wait for stripe size change from 128 to 256?

Using SmartStart CD and ACU, tried to change the stripe size of 6 72GB HDD Raid 10 from 128 to 256. Took more than 24 hours. This array is connect to the onboard 6i with no bbwc.

On another array on the same machine. 14 disk 72GB Raid 10. Connected to a 6400 576MB with bbwc took a couple of hours, maybe 4.

Any idea it is taking so long on the 6i? How long more should I wait? All this on a DL380 G4 and all firmware at the latest.
