how to create zone


Hi all,

i am new to san we have HP EVA 8000 SAN Storage size is 120 TB and brocade switch and HP server rx 8640 and we use Hp command view to do all task related SAN.can anyone provide me step by step to create zone.

You should read the switch manuals and the SAN design guide both available on hp.com.

In general, you create an alias for the HBA WWN on the switch (web interface), then pack the aliases you want into a zone and add the zone to the current configuration.

This tasks must be performed directly on the switch, not on commandview.
