How to expansion RAID by on-line expansion

I use Proliant 5500(Platform Windows NT 4.0 SP4) and Storage Work RA8000 with HSG80 Array Controllers ACS V83G
I would like to expansion capacity but I don't want to re install some program on RA8000. I would like to know the way that I can on-line expansion or others to do for this solution.

Now I use version 8.3G,Can I upgrade to version 8.5 ?
