HP StorageWorks Modular Smart Array 500 G2 shut down

Hi All!!!

Our customer has a HP StorageWorks Modular Smart Array 500 G2 and we need to turn off the disk array but I don´t know the safe procedure for turn off the disk array and we don´t want to lose the information. Somebody knows how we must shut down the disk array?

Hi!

Unmount the filesystems and power off the servers connected to it.
Then power it off.

instructions are in the MSA 500 G2 User Guide under "power down". Just press the button and take out the power cables :)
