Immediate_Report set to 0 on EVA devices
I recently noticed that the immediate_report parameter is set to 0 on my EVA devices on HPUX 11.0 systems.
Kernel parameter, default_disk_ir, is set to the default of 0 on all of my systems.
My VA7400 luns (on the same systems) have the immediate_report parameter set to 1??? I haven't changed the default with the scsictl command???? Is the device driver setting this parameter automatically????
Anyway, it seems that I do want write cache enabled for performance reasons on my disk arrays.
Is there a difference between pvlinks and Secure Path relating to enabling the write cache for the luns?
