ML530: Waiting for Rebuild
One ofthe 3-drive RAID 5 Array failed. I replaced it, reboot the server, then press F1 to enable Automatic Recovery. But ADC/ADU continue showing "Waiting for Rebuild".
While boot time, when I press F1, the green light on disk starts blinking but suddenly stops. If I reboot the server, the boot screen shows that the Automaticy Recovery was interrumpted.
Any ideas?
Thanks a lot

Re: ML530: Waiting for Rebuild
Take a look at the ACU
Check where the faulty drive is, and where you have inserted the replacement drive.
Or generate an ADU report and attach it here.

Re: ML530: Waiting for Rebuild
Update:
Using ACU I unplug the disk and plug it again and starts rebuild the array. If shows the percentage. But, when it gets at 10% it hangs and then jump to 100%. Refresh the windows shows again "Waiting for rebuild".
I doubled checked and I correctly put the replacement drive in the faulty drive slot.

Re: ML530: Waiting for Rebuild
Then you must have another disk with problems on that RAID. It does not allow the rebuild process to complete.
Run an ADU report and we'll see what errors there are on each disk.
