MSA 1000 - Redundant controller fails and drives become unavailable.
Have two DL385's running RHEL5 each with 2 Emulex HBA's attached to an MSA 1000 with redundant switches and controllers running v7.0 fimware. System was tested for failover by almost every method possible and succeeded. Recently had one of the controllers fail and failover did not occur and the disk connectivity was lost, crashing the application. Is it possible the controller was at fault or are there possible configuration issues? Any insight is appreciated.
