MSA20 Hard disk health check software application

i am looking for a software solution to check SATA hard disk drives of MSA20 storage for pre-failiure management & find out its current status.

How about system management homepage and ACU (included in SPP - support pack for proliant).

Hi,

 

I'll just add to Torsten's suggestion HP SIM, as you can use it to monitor more than just one system, while with the ACU/SMH approach you'd need more or less to log on each system and make a manual check. Alternatively if you configure HP SIM to monitor the whole set of servers and their direct-attached storage, it'll interpret the SNMP traps the systems would send and will provide you with an overview over the complete HP environment.
