msa30 question
In case of a hardware failure, can an MSA30 disk unit replace a StorageWorks 4354r disk unit? For instance, can we swap the SCSI controller and disks from a 4354r and put them in a MSA30 and have it come up seamlessly and not lose any data?

Re: msa30 question
The M4354 is a dual-bus SCSI enclosure and does not contain a SCSI (RAID) controller. I would not move arbitrary modules because there are dependencies on the I/O module and the EMU module. You can put the disk drives in a MSA30 DB, though.
