MSA500. G2 or not a G2 model

I see different specs for rated capacity of the MSA500 and MSA500 G2. One capable of 2TB and the G2 is cabable of 4.2TB.

How can I tell which model of MSA500 we have and is there really a difference in the capacity between the two?

HP Tech support was able to help me by using the output of the ACU diagnostic utility.
