I was configuring a P410i in a rx2800 i2 and configured a unit with ADG not realising I needed a extra licence. So now on the serial console I get the following message.
Launching Device Manager.
HP Smart Array P410i Controller (version 3.66) 5 Logical Drives
1754-Drive Array - RAID ADG drive(s) configured but ADG Enabler Module
is detached or defective and license key is not active.
Please attach or replace ADG Enabler Module or enter license key.
Array Accelerator is temporarily disabled.
Press "F1" to continue...
My question is - how do I press F1 when i'm using the serial console remotely (the server is at a different site to me)?
I want to be able to delete the config and start again.

Re: p410 in a rx2800 i2 - press F1
I now have
"Currently the controller is in RAID mode"
but no shell prompt (I'm trying to go to the shell with the intention of booting from a DVD and redoing the storage config).
What do I have to do to progres?
