procedure to replace a va7400's controller
dear all,
i need to replace a va7400's fault controller, the va7400 is in dual controllers configuration, in what procedure i should take?

Hi Stephen,
armdsp -i => this will list the array details.
armdsp -a => this will give the array status and the fault controller details.
All the parts except VA mid plance can be replaced online.
Activity should be.
1.Remove and refix the battery from the good controller to clear the chache. if the controller is new then no need to do the battery removal. actually clearing chache is not mandatory but on safer side.
2. Remove the faulty controller from the VA array.
3. wait for 2 mint and replace the good controller.
4. check the status using armdsp -a
5. check the armlog for any error messages.
