Remove one HD from RAID 5 on Smart Array 5300
a HDD was add into Array which is RAID 5 with 3 HDDs congigured as 2 logical disks for Array expand, RAID 5 has been built among 4 HDDs but no logical disk configured on new HDD yet, neither on logical disk size change. Can I delete this new HDD and make the array back to original configuration?

When you added the disk drive to the existing array, data was moved to the new disk drive. Unfortunately, the SmartArray controller cannot move the data back and 'free' a disk drive so that you can remove it from the array.
You have to backup all data, destroy the logical disks and the disk drive array. Then you can recreate the array with less disks, recreate the logical disks and reload your data.
