replace failed disk
Hi All,
i have RAID 1+0 with one on-line spare on my MSA 100 storage one of the physical drive failed, rebuilding seems to be done on the spare but it is blinking, my equation if I replace the failed drive with a new one will the array rebuild and bring the spare back as it was before ?
pls help..thnx

Yes, the MSA1000 will return to the original disk drive configuration.

I added a new one and the MSA 100 rebuild to the original configuration except the spare, windows event viwer says it is on predicative mode and it keep on blinking, do I need to use Array Confg Utility to add and remove the spare or just simply remove and add a new one.
