Rom failure
I have a 5300/32 controller that had failed a rom flash ( FLash Unsuccessfull BH) and I am not able to reflash I keep getting the same error. Rom was 1.28 trying to go to 1.72

Is the controller still recognized on POST? If not, then you'll need to replace the controller. If the controller is POSTing fine, they try the latest rompaq of SP16371.exe which will include rom revision 1.74.

I have fixed the issue!!! I had to take the batteries out of the array accelerator, that had cleared all config. data and it was OK. This seems to be an issue!!! Hint.
