RSM+BC atomic snaps for a volume group with multiple PVs

Hi,

I have a VG, with multiple LVs. the 4 PVs are presented from an EVA 4000.
I'm trying to use RSM (BC) to backup data. the point is that I cannot suspend the application (no hot backup mode, and no unmount/stop is possible), So I have to use something like the XP disk array (raid manager) consistency group with it's at-time split functionality.
will the "SnapshotHostVolumeGroup" function do the trick for me, or is there another way to do that?
