ScanMaster and EVA 5000 Problem
Hello
I tried to run the scanmaster (version 2_1_0) utility on the following EVA: 309620-B24 EVA5K 2C2D-C 50Hz 42U Graphite ALL .
But it was not possible to get any output.
I run the utility from the management appliance ( Microsoft(R) Windows(R) Server 2003, Enterprise Edition ). Then I created the cfg file by providing the appliance's IP address and then I tried to run the scanmaster command but it failed to scan the EVA. The connectivity test was passed but then It was not able to collect any data.
Does anybody have any idea what the problem might be?
Is there any compatibilty problem of the utility and the EVA?
The admin login and the password must be the same as those provided when loging in the appliance? (This is what I did).
Regards

Re: ScanMaster and EVA 5000 Problem
Hi Panos
You are using the wrong logon. You need to specify the logon credentials that you would use if you were logging on to the appliance using SSSU utility.

Re: ScanMaster and EVA 5000 Problem
Normally, the user/password for scanmaster-eva is administrator/administrator.
Por que hacerlo dificil si es posible hacerlo facil? - Why do it the hard way, when you can do it the easy way?
