Trying to locate EMA, EVA Serial Number....
Is there anyway I can locate the s/n of EMA and EVA storage box without resorting to do a physical check?
From SWCC and Commandview EVA, I can only see the s/n of the controllers.
But what I'm really after is the serial number of the entire EMA & EVA.
Please advice...thanks in advance.

Re: Trying to locate EMA, EVA Serial Number....
This information is not stored in the system when it is delivered from manufacturing. The only safe way is to inspect the hardware and/or check the delivery papers.

Re: Trying to locate EMA, EVA Serial Number....
For some good reasons, EMA/EVAs do not follow the controller/chassis serial number. Serial number used for identification, is located on the rack. First 2 characters show country of origin (US=USA, SG=Singapore etc.).
For all those who are reading this, as a best practice, I always record the serial number in CommandView (during the setup) at bottom where the comments are stored.
my 2 cents worth.
