unable to build friendly names fnames file using evaperf
I have unsuccessfully tried to build a fnames file us the following command:
C:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\EVA Performance Monitor>evaperf fnh localhost Administrator
Access to the host was NOT verified
Host: localhost not added to the list
C:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\EVA Performance Monitor>evaperf fnh localhost Administrator

is "Administrator" a member of the group "HP Storage Admins" or "HP Storage Users"? If not I would add then try again.

By default, when Command View EVA is installed on the management server it creates these two local groups. Are you saying you don't have these groups on the SAN management server?
