upgrade EVA4000-A (AD554B)
Hello !
Help me please:
I have M5314C drive enclosure. It is not compatible with EVA4000. Can I connect this enclosure by simple replace its IO modules on M5314B IO-A Module (AD623B) and IO-B Module (AD624B) ? Or need, additional, replace PS, EMU, FC copper cables ?
Can I replace (step by step) all identical disks in storage group on bigger disks ( 146gb to 450) and use new free space for new LUNs ?

Re: upgrade EVA4000-A (AD554B)
EVA4000-A needs an M5314B enclosure.
It has the I/O modules with spares ending on -005 instead of -009. Everything else is identical.
On an EVA you can add and remove disks from a disk group in any moment. You can group and ungroup several disks at the same time.
