upgrade from 431 to 4200

I have a DL580 that is using a 431 card I want to swap that card to a 4200. Is it just a hardware swap or will I run into some config problems?

It is a hardware swap , but you'll still need to run the System Configuration Utility and the Array Configuration Utility . The controller reads the configuration of the drives .

Also make certain you have a reliable backup , before doing the swap .
