Vdisk failed on EVA 5000 after a FW upgarde
After a FW upgrade on EVA 5000, I have two LUNs on Vdsik group failed.
What should be the reason?
The FW has been done successfully, unless one disk failed that I replaced.

Re: Vdisk failed on EVA 5000 after a FW upgarde
Can you please let us know from what VCS version you upgraded FROM and what VCS version you upgraded TO?
Also, if the upgrade was done by an HP engineer.?
We are also on the same upgrade path --- in our case - VCS 3.028 to VCS 4.004.
Have you done the check list?
Per the release notes and readme's - this upgrade should be done offline and SHOULD not result in loss of data (but advices the customer to back up all data.)

Re: Vdisk failed on EVA 5000 after a FW upgarde
The upgarde of the VCS was from 3.014 to 3.028.
The HP support center found many IO errors and asked me to replace the controller.
Now, the EVA is up and running.
