Veritas Volume Manager. Storage total space
I have Veritas Volume Manager in my system and I want to know the exact storage space on the system. How can I find storage space?
Thanks

Re: Veritas Volume Manager. Storage total space
I could be confused I think Veritas uses the vx style commands. If have that right then
To show physical devices added to the volume manager
vxdisk list
See space not yet allocated
vxdg free
See disk groups
vxdg list
See configured volumnes
vxprint -v
See all configuration
vxprint -Ath
There should be manual pages for these and others
You should ideally know a little more than this before you start changing to many things. g/l cheers mark ;)
