What is "pinned slot" in XP1024
Hi,
can someone tell me what is "pinned slot" in xp1024.
Error Message:-
Redundant Disk HDDR23-9 of XP (pinned slot)has been failed.

Hi Kashif,
It's too complicated to explain/understand the pinned slot concept but in general, it's an error within XP's auto-recovery mechanism which is not recoverable on it's own or sometimes not recoverable at all. All you need to do is to degrade the ArrayGroup and replace the drive. Recovery is tedious and must be done by HP XP professionals only.
