146GB drives and Solaris support

146GB 10k drives have been out and available for a while now yet the latest Solaris platform kit, 8.7A, dated April 2003 shows no support for the use of the drive in an HSG environment.

146GB drices are supported in the Windows environment (v8.7A, July 2003). Why not the Solaris environment? Is it just a post-April qualification thing? When can we expect this qualification?
