1720-SMART Hard Drive detects imminent failure (Failing Attr.:02)

I've a new Evo N610c (with a FUJITSU MHS2030AT Harddrive). After 3 weeks of running ok now I'm always getting the error (see title) when I boot the PC. Then I'm asked to press F1 to continue and to PC seems to work again. Can someone tell what this is? and What can I do to solve this Problem? (Is really an HD issues or simple a SW problem?

Maurizio,
it's purely drive hardwre problem. Drive is constantly analyzing itself with SMART system embedded, and if it feels that problems (for example, defect list, error rate etc) is increasing out of spec it warns PC which in its turn warns user with this message you see on the screen. I would replace this disk and contact Fujitsu for code 0x02 clarification

Same error. brand new Evo N600C. I have a strong feeling it is not hardware. There are fixes everywhere on the compaq/hp site for various hard drives that receive this error.

The one that has worked for me is:
NONE!!!!

I tried every one out there...

sp11409

No idea what kind of Hard drive is in this thing. I took it out and the make/model are covered up by stickers. I did not remove them for fear of voiding the warranty.

If I were you I would go back to your store and get a new HD!

My HD definitively gave-up 2 weeks after getting first time this message! (and I lost my work!!!!)
