ADU Possibly Reporting Incorect drive Model #'s
I recently recieved three new 36gb Ultra320 SCSI 15k drives to add to an existing raid Array. The drives have a Spare Part # of 289241-001 labled on the front. I ran the Array Diagnostic Utility v7.31.2.0 and two of the three model numbers reported back for the new drives do not appear in the Model-To-Spare part matrix. http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?objectID=PSD_CN0304W
They were reported as follows:
BF0368683B = NOT IN MATRIX
BF03688284 = NOT IN MATRIX
BF03685A35 = APPEARS IN MATRIX
I am curious if this is a reporting error in ADU or if the Matrix is not up to date. How will I know if these Model numbers are accurate so I can check for firmware upgrades?
