Are 10,000 rpm disks compatible with 7,200 in same array?

Can I replace a failed Compaq 9.1 7,200 RPM hot-swapable disk with a 10,000 RPM unit in the same array. The contoller is a Smart 2/DH in a Proliant 1600.

Thanks,

Renne

Hello!

I'm think that you can, but the disk could be
connected to the same connect point?
Give the info about the disk it could help.
