Re: Critical dm_ses_enclosure disk failure
to me this looks very much like an FC10 and target 10 is not a disk but the LCC (link controller card); product ID A5236 matches that, however I hope you have a support contract and can get HP to update controller firmware to HP10.
The disk in slot 6 should be target 5 so you can run a
dd if=/dev/rdsk/c#t5d0 of=/dev/null bs=1024k
to verify complete readability of this disk.
If it dd gives an I/O error, have the disk replaced.
However, I suspect the error due to the old controller firmware.

Bernhard

Re: Critical dm_ses_enclosure disk failure
It can be ignored
It can be eliminated by assigning a LUN0 to the Fiber connection.

Re: Critical dm_ses_enclosure disk failure
sorry, I just double-checked and saw the target ID of the disk would be 6 (for enclosure # 0).

Re: Critical dm_ses_enclosure disk failure
I've used the tool mstm which performs some exercise and so on test ....
With successfull issue ... so .... I'm happy with this result.
From my opinion, it should really be firmware issue ...
Thanks again for your help
Cheers
