Drive specs

Hello,

Need to know the specs for my 18.2GB drive, I'm installing into a Sun system.

Model:HC0183172A Other model #'s on drive are: 336358-B21 & 336367-001

Need, # of cylinders, # heads & sectors/track

You should never need that type of information on a SCSI hard disk... The SCSI controller takes care of that (pulls it from the drive). This is NOT IDE.

In setting up the OS, I do need to know this.
At the bios, the drive is seen, but if the drive parameters is not in the
/etc/format.dat file, the OS does not know what type of drive is being partitioned for use.
