HP & Seagate Hard Drive

I recently got a Seagate GoFlex Portable 1TB drive. It works fine on my home computer (vista), but my work computer doesn't recognize it. I have xp pro at work. When I plug it in it'll try to install software, but will fail and just call it an unknown device... I've tried the whole device manager, right click, uninstall, restart thing and that didn't work.

Suggestions?
