I am trying to connect HSG80 to K570 running HP-UX 11.0. HSG80 has ACS version 8.6.
HSG configured in Multibus failover mode and connected to two switches. Host has two HBAs. Using ioscan -fnC disk, I could able to see four paths for each lun.Everything is fine upto this stage. But when I try diskinfo /dev/rdsk/cxtxdx. I get size 0 Bytes.
Can somebody help me on this?
System: K570
HP-UX Ver:11.0

Solution
Did you create LUN 0 in the HSG? If not then it's 'virtual' LUN 0 for hpux to query disk array type (fcparray).
In addition see http://forums.itrc.hp.com/cm/QuestionAnswer/1,,0x787d19434a69d711abdc0090277a778c,00.html . It's long, but interesting

Re: HSG80 connection to K570. Lun size 0 Bytes
Thanks for your message. It really helped. Initially DO was not created. Only D1 & D2. After creating D0, it became ok. Thanks for your help.
