Model 30/FC Raid Array - 18 GB Disk Drives
Does anyone have info on where I can purchase a number of Model A5133A (18 GB) disk drives? They seem to be a hot item and no one can get their hands on them.
Any help would be much-appreciated guys.
Thanks
Jim

Re: Model 30/FC Raid Array - 18 GB Disk Drives
James,
The A5133A is very expensive NEW from HP and no supply in the used equipment world, one alternative is to purchase the OEM drives for $650 each. The OEM drives run with no problems, HP may not supprt them, so you will need to set up your hot spare correctly, and purchase a few shelf spares. Many HP customers are running the OEM drives and are very happy they went this route , and saved thousands of dollars. Feel free to contact me with any questions or pricing.
